I purchased an Edge 256 MB SD memory card from Walmart.com on 11/23/2004 (shipment date 11/26/2004) It came with a $10.00 rebate if purchased between 11/01/2004 and 01/05/2005. I filled out the rebate form, attached the UPC Code and the packing slip as required, and mailed it to wheresmyrebate.com in New Rochelle, NY. Today 12/29/04 I received an email from wheresmyrebate.com telling me that I was rejected for the rebate because it wasn’t purchased in the time frame between 11/01/04 and 01/05/2005.

The last time I checked 11/26/2004 does fall between those dates. I also sent to them every piece of required paperwork. I called them today and finally got them after a busy signal for a couple of hours. I spoke with a representative who told me to fax the packing slip again. After attempting to fax it numerous times in a ten hour period, I finally gave up.

The fax line is constantly busy and will not accept the fax. Why should I have to send it again? They apparently got the envelope I sent to them if they were able to reject it. I also sent this complaint to both Walmart.com and Edge Tech.
