Dear Complaints.com, The list of emails below documents the difficulty I have been experiencing over the period of nearly a year in having Symantec Corporation make good on a $30 rebate that was offered along with the purchase of Norton Internet Security 2004 Professional. I purchased the product in January of 2004 and the rebate offer expires on December 31 2004. To this date; I have not received the rebate. Symantec has offered no alternate solution to resolve this issue. This morning I am snail-mailing a formal letter of complaint along with the below list of chronological emails to: Symantec World HQ in California, Symantec Corp. Springfield Oregon, Symantec Corp. Beaverton Oregon, and the Federal Trade Commission. In addition, I will be seeking out other online and print mediums such as "Complaints.com" to share my disappointing experience with Symantec and their unethical behavior.
