The CEO - Videocon India Dear Sir,

I wish to highlight about the pathetic service i have received from 1 of your dealers in Mumbai in delivery of a 29 inch Videocon TV which i purchased recently. I purchased a 29 inch Videocon TV on Saturday ,18th dec , evening from Rahul Electronic P Ltd from the stall they have put up at the ongoing Consumer exhibition at Bandra Kurla complex. Payment of inr17000/- was made in cash and a paid cash bill was taken , bill no = 1805 , at the time of sale it was promised that the TV will be delivered Monday morning, myself delayed going to the office on monday anticipating that the tv will come, as i stay alone in a flat at pali hill and i wanted to be there at time of delivery, but the TV never arrived,i made repeated phone calls to Rahul electronic and spoke to gents named Krishna and Bhavik and was told all the time that TV will come any time,this process continued till night and finally i left my home to have dinner and the delivery guy came at 2300hrs monday while i was away,my security and watchman let him in my flat and the guy placed the TV and spoke to me on phone and said it is delivered but he cud not find a power point to connect and test the tv,while the power socket was next to the tv trolley only !!!

He went and then i came later in night only to find that it was a defective piece and despite of connecting it to power socket it did not switch on,,,it caused me tremendous mental agony that after battling the entire day i was deleivered a faulty tv at 2300hrs in the night. I protested strongly with the dealer the next day and they all said they have no control over the delivery and they will send a replacement set by afternoon 1300hrs,tuesday,.Again the mental agony started as no delivery was made till 2300hrs (again!!!) on tuesday night.All this while the dealer kept promising that tv has left and will come any moment fr this reason i had to cancel a doctors appointment as well!!

The point is that i was given a load of lies and despite making a full payment in cash i was subjected to humiliation and mental trauma and inefficiency and incompetence of the highest degree by this dealer.As a protest on tuesday night i did not returned the faulty tv back to the delivery guy and i wrote a message to the dealer regarding all this and asked them to let there BOSS talk to me as i demanded a serious Apology and compensation for wasting my 2 days and the agony that i was put through in due to this utter unprofessionalism and inefficiency.I have received nothing as yet,the faulty TV is still lying at my place. Dear Videocon i must say that in all this the biggest looser will be you as your name is getting SPOILED , if im not consoled and compensated then i will never recommend buying videocon TV to anyone and specially with this Rahul electronic. I work for a multinational shipping company and we know what service standard we provide to my customers and i really expected some out of this dealer of yours. Please contact me asap as im still fuming with this treatment and incompetency. thanks

This is all happening due to the decreasing of Moral values, Discipline, Headstorgness. These type of people should not posses self respect, fight like street dogs. The company owners should beware about this type of persons. They should appoint any person at any rank after clearing by a psychologist, that the person is good and having sufficient values and not a street dog type person. Then only National or MNC can sustain. Till that time middle class people have to suffer. [While i am searching for a Videocon 2 in one tape recorder unfortunately i came to this site. I read about the sad story of this consumer. After that i decided not to buy any videocon product. I learned that How Videocon is taking better care about themselves. For posting a comment also how much care they are taking to protect about themselves.
