centex is not a honest builder all over with other states as well. even the head office in dallas tx, will not make centex fix my home. I been tring for four years to get some help nothing. I have files of complaints and letters asking for help and nothing. centex has lied to cover up. before anyone builds a new home they should visit some of the people are unhappy and how the neigbor hoods look. because centex is not the right builder.

I'm disabled and the house that centex build for me was supposed to be that, but it was not. the house was never inspected my a indiana inspectpor which it should of been, any house in indiana is, centex has sales people that lied and construion workers that did a bad job. the lot that they charged extra for a full pond view I did not get. it cost $2,500 . no one else paid for that on my street. then they said no wooden fences on pond lots. they let a neigbor bild one and I can not see the pond. a screened in porch that cost $3,500 is now junk. I complained about the cheap wood that is chipping and the screens are pulled out. the door to the porch does not fit.

we have leaking celling, celling is craked. the wall to the kitchen is not full attached. the laundry room is smaller. the garage walls are not connected to the foundation and when it rans stuff gets wet. carpet had to much glue and was spotted. they also put used appilance in my home. there is mold. they also gave us old furance and ac. they sent out some one and he told them he came out on a day, he lied it was not that day, it was the next day, the guy refuaed to look at all the problems. the master bathroom is not a master bathroom and the the other bathroom is small. My mother is also a senior citzen who lives with me, and we both got taken.

We had to have the referator fixed because it was used and old. now it will have to be up to us to fix the problems that centex did not fix. check out other home builders before you buy. check out other compalints on other web sites. the best thing is to hire your own home inspector. make sure the codes of your state. because filling with an attorney for flawes in a new homes is different. talk to the home owners, look at the neighbor hoods and the surroundings. because centex sales lady had lied. because we were not told about a liquoir store, apartments, and hosiptal going in. but we found out that centex new about these things four years before the housing addtion was built. look into the county laws as will. no my my mother and I are stuck with a house that will not last. we were not told the truth or gotten anywhere with centex.
