CVS Pharmacy - Randleman Road - Greensboro, NC

CVS Pharmacy - Randleman Road - Greensboro, NC I called in a refill for Timolol, which is generic for Timoptic. I later picked up my prescription from the drive through window. And since I did not need the medicine immediately, it was a couple days before I opened the medicine.

Unfortunately, I did not realize that it was the wrong medication until I had opened it and put the eye drops in my eyes. Being in a hurry to go off to work, I did not notice that it was a different medicine until after I had put the drops in my eyes. I called the Pharmacy and spoke to the Pharmacist, whose name was Alex. He did not even apologize, but accused me of giving the clerk the wrong number. I explained that I did not give them a number, but gave them the name of the medication. He said they could refill the correct medication, but I would have to pay for it.

I told him that I had been a customer of CVS since they had been in Greensboro, and I could not believe that he would risk losing a customer over a $10 co-pay. I also explained that I could not afford to pay another $10 for the medicine. He never apologized, but told me that if I wanted to, they would transfer the prescription to another pharmacy. The least they owe me is the correct medicine, without me having to pay another $10 co-pay. H, Patricia Click this link to e-mail the above consumer: Email User Consumer
