Business Location: Newegg.com 132 South 6th Ave. La Puente, CA 91746-3026 Complaint: I made an order with your company for the sum of $259.98. I CANCELED that order. However my bank just charged me for THREE overdrafts because neweggs charges actually went through! They charged my account $259.98, and because of this I have concurrent overdraft charges due to neweggs negligence. Newegg is supposed to ONLY hold funds until the product is packaged and shipped. It was only on stage two of the order process when this charge came through my account. I will never order from this "Company" again. *UPDATE!* After reading my review on Resellerratings.com, Newegg has called me in an attempt to resolve my issue. The rep. told me he can only reimburse me $56.00 to my Visa card. However they can't or wonâ?Tt reimburse me for anymore than that. I can't say I am happy with this decision. As none of these overdrafts would have happened to begin with if it wasn't for the way they handled my transaction. They wanted me to mark this review as Very Satisfied. However I can't do that as I have still lost money because of what happened. I can only say they made a light attempt to recover 50%+ of my losses. The point is I should have had losses to being with. As of right now dealing with Newegg set me back $28.00. :( I recieved this email from them: "According to the statement provided by you, we have looked it over and when you originally purchased from us with $446.22 in your account. The order cost $259.98 which brings your balance to a total of $186.24. Therefore an overdraft fee should not have been incurred at that time. However we as a courtesy, considering your situation, we have gladly reimburse you for more than 50% of the overdraft fees, which is $56.00. This covers 2 of the 3 overdraft charges. Please allow 3-5 business days for the credit to fully process. We hope this will still make you Very Satisfied and it can be reflected online at Resellerratings.com." So they only feel that this problem is 50% of their responsibility. Who in their right mind would be "Very Satisfied" whilst still out $28.00? PS- I did file a complaint with the BBB. So now I will have to attempt to recover the rest of my funds. At least now it's not as bad as it was. This is still a horrible experience to go through.
