WATERPROOFING YOUR HOME, FOUNDATION, AND BASEMENT Before you invest around $15,000 in EVERDRY'S most extensive waterproofing system, read the back of their contract carefully. We had water damage after their system was installed, and we had just finished the entire basement. We had never had a water problem before, only moisture behind the baseboards.

Anyway, our carpet was damaged and EVERDRY does not cover the cost of replacing any items you place in the basement after they have waterproofed it. You are out of luck if their system fails. All we wanted was the money paid to the water cleanup company for our carpet in the basement. That was such a small amount compared to the $13,000 we spent on having EVERDRY waterproof our home. We didn't think we were asking for much.

They flatly declined to reimburse us. They only stated that they would fix whatever problem there was with their system. After the many phone calls, they told us that they recommend people wait until after one Spring has passed before finishing their basement. Sounds like they have a lot of confidence in their system. After having them come out a few times over a 4 month waiting period, we ended up taking care of the problem at our own expense because we were so disgusted with them and their customer service. That's the other thing. If you expect to get good customer service from them (after you've paid them for their work), plan on a waiting period of 2 months before they make it out to your home. These are just some of the highlights of the problems we had with EVERDRY. I could write a small book containing the many complaints I had with this company. BE SURE TO GET A 2ND OPINION. EVERDRY inspectors pressure you into believing that their system is the only solution. There are many other solutions out there. DON'T BUY INTO THE LIE. Compare costs and different systems. You may save a bundle. HERE IS EVERDRY'S WARRANTY (Read between the lines):

We will handle any problems you experience with the EverDry system at no charge to you for the period of one year. "Contractor agrees to service the seepage of water through the subsoil masonry walls and floor for the areas specified for a period of one year from the date of this agreement without additional charge to Owner for labor and materials." We stand by our service agreement. This agreement is transferable along with your warranty. "This agreement to provide free labor and free material, can be extended yearly for an additional sum of $40 per year, payable on each consecutive year by the Owner on or before the anniversary date of this agreement, providing the Owner has fulfilled all the terms and conditions of this agreement."

Everdry Water proofing is the worst company I have ever heard about I have never seen a company that is willing to risk the lives of their employees just to make a buck. I had a friend who worked there, on the way to work, they had a fire in the company truck. They got the fire out and called the supervisor, he told them to get in the truck and get to the site, and not to call him until they were there. What kind of person tells someone to get BACK in a car that was just on fire and drive it? Since when did a life mean so little?

My friend quit on the flippin' spot! i would have too, and I would have sued them. How dare they risk the life of another person or persons just too make a dollar? This was the Everdry in Waukesha WI!
