Ford Focus Problems

I bought a 2001 Ford Focus back in June, 2001. This vehicle was sold to me brand new and have taken very good care of it. I was raised by mechanics and know how to take care of a car, however, This car has given me many many headaches. I will list the problems I can remember. I have had the car for three long years too long. Most of the work on this vehicle has been performed by me since dealerships were made for the rich.

). Replaced the EGR valve twice.

). Replaced the EGR sensor once.

). Replaced the radiator cap three times because it keeps leaking coolant and steam.

). Replaced the belt tensioner once. Which is made of goddam plastic for Christ's sake!

). Replaced the thermostat three times.

). Replaced the cooling fan's resistor.

). Replaced the Map Flow Sensor. Ford Warranty took care of that but I was without a car for two days.

). The coolants reservoir bursted and spilled all the coolant.Ford repaired this two after waiting a week for this part to arrive.

). Ford also took care of a rear brake recall.

). Battery terminal's recall.

). Fuel Pump recall.

). Power steering pump. Warranty repired.

). The CD player skips all the time no matter how much I clean it.

). Front Passenger's side speaker popped. Warranty repaired. I,ve never had a stereo sistem in this vehicle.

). Replaced the fanbelt.

). Tires are "four hundred and fourty dollars" for all four. And that is for Firestones. Imagine a good brand.

Well, these are a few repairs that I recall right now. I know some were taken care by the warranty. Avery few. But for an average american like myself, Even having the car parked at the dealership for a half-ass repair job is very stressfull and can cost you a day or two of your 40 hour week.
