The buisness I would like to complaint to is Continental Airlines.

My complaint is that on my trip to El Salvador on July 10, 2004, on our way to Houston,Texas to El Salvador, I was treated with whats called raisism perhaps. I cooled my temper and everything went alright on the rest of the flight.

On the day back from El Salvador to Houston,Texas , flight # 827, we were asked by a kind family to exchange seats so that their family could be together. Us, my nephew and I, both gladly gave our seats up for an exchange. The reason why the family needed our seats was because, there was an emergency exit where one of their children was seated.

There we went gladly and sat where they were placed. What we didn't realize was that my nephew, was "Too young" to go next to the emergency exit. We told them that I, the uncle, could go next to the window and my nephew could go in between the other passenger and I. They began to get mad and started arguing. I didn't see why there was need of argument. One of the flight attendents asked how old my nephew was... he responded and told her he was 14.5. She got mad once again and said he had to be fifteen. I told her that he was close to that age and that there was no need for him to have to move, because that's what she wanted.

She got even madder and said if thats the way we wanted, than we should wait to see what was going to happen next. We waited with paitience and nothing happened. Then my nephew said he was willing to move/exchange seats so that there was to be no trouble. He moved and said that it was all alright. A couple minutes after she had called the captain and he came furious aswell. He began to threaten us by taking us out the plane. We said that all we wanted was to help a family and what we got in an exchange was trouble.

Thats when he said that when a flight attendent told us we had to do something that we had to do it. We both were asking ourselves why they were still arguing if there was no more problems. They kept talking and finally they left. We were put in embarrasment with all the people because of their reaction. All I ask for after all that trouble is and apology from continental airlines and an apology from the captain. Also, I would like for the captain to be trained more respect towards his costumers because we paid for a nice trip back home and all we reseaved was a big embarrasment.

Thank you for your time and hope to hear from you soon......

Sincerely,

Ciro H and Alan H

Family H
