We signed a contract in April of 2003, ground wasn’t broken until October 2003 and as of May 2004 we fired Bill’s and completed our pool with another contractor. Our experience with Bill Wood was horrible. As others have stated, he was completely responsive during the sales process, very nice and accommodating.

The price for the pool we chose was more than competitive. But once work began everything was a catastrophe. Calls went unanswered; voice mail at the office was always full; we could never talk to Bill and no one else would give us any reliable information. We were lied to continuously by Bill and his employees regarding the completion of the pool. We were told the project would take 2-3 weeks to complete after the shell was delivered. Seven months after the shell was delivered we were still not complete and this is when we fired Bill.

Our concrete decking is crumbling apart in places and cracked in places it shouldn’t be. A whole row of tiles in our spa are falling off. The decking sags in many areas. No lights were installed as per the contract. We were never given many pieces of equipment, including the Aqualink system and spa blower to name two.

Some of the installation was not up to code (i.e. a sump pump was installed somewhere under the pool as part of the water level regulator. However, his workers just ran a regular extension cord under the decking to power this.) I’m not even sure this company is still in business, but I would advise anyone not to do business with them.
