DELL!!!!! Does anyone have a clue as to how to get a complaint to Dell? I've spent hours on the phone and internet trying to contact them. On the phone I'm told that there is is no system in place for me to talk to anyone about a complaint. I'm referred to an e-mail address that either doesn't exist or is not accessible by the address I was given and have never been able to send an e-mail to anyone in the company. Thus, number one complaint. When I bought my computer a few months ago, I financed it with them. They failed to tell me that they were setting me on an account with a limit of the exact amount of the computer, simply said I could order ink cartridges and/or other equipment on the same account. When I did so, however, it sent me over the limit they'd imposed and so they charged me an over limit fee.
When I decided to buy printer cartridges somewhere other than through Dell, I discovered that it was impossible. They had not told me that the only cartridges that will work in my printer are those that I purchase through them, on my credit account. Thus, when I ran out of ink in the middle of an important, rush project, there was no way to use my printer. I had to wait a week for them to ship to me. I say that I will never, ever deal with Dell again in my life as a result, but here I am with a printer/fax/scanner/copier/etc. that I can continue to use only if I continue to deal with the company. I'm ready to sell the system just so that I can avoid dealing with them. If only I could find a way to tell them so! Apparently, they have the perfect trap. Encourage you to buy their products, set a credit limit without informing you of it, arrange it so that you are forced to deal with them for the life of your equipment, then stay completely inaccessible so they don't have to hear your feelings about being duped! Any suggestions welcome.
