Kliptch Speakrs, DVD' / Best Buy On-line Best Buy Online, Porter Ranch Detailed complaint: It has been one nightmare after another. On the second I blame myself. About a month ago I ordered two rear surround speakers and a center channel from Best Busy Online. I choose the store pick up as they are not to far away and my husband and I were anxious to get them hooked up. When placing the order it was stated that I had to wait for a confirmation letter to pick them up and it would be a 24 hour turn around. After nothing happened well after 24 hours I called.
The first time I was told that my credit card had been rejected, why no one notified I wondered at the time. I confirmed the credit card number with the service representative ( I will use that term lightly in this correspondence, as services have been nonexistent for the most part). To sum this one up, it took us over two weeks to pick up our speakers from the Porter Ranch Store, in the process, I had to call at least once each day, and on each occasion I got a different story.
I then realized that online and store pick up was not a option for the future. I did make the mistake to try again with Best Buy Online, shame on me. On August 10th I ordered 4 DVD's. Apparently the order was processed on August 11th as it was a in-stock items as well. My credit card was charged for the order on August 12th.
Monitoring the shipping after a week when by it would appear that my order has seen more of this country than I have, then on the 18th of August it showed that it as processed out of the US Post Office in Mission Hills. Which is the main Postal Terminal that our mail comes from, as we are a small city next down. So it was sent out on the 18th of August, and today is the 25th of August. It should of been here based on other experiences with shipping no later than the 21st.
I have called Best Buy Online Customer "Disservice" several times since, yesterday being told that if my order did not come by September 2nd that they would UPS it to me over night. Today after it did not arrive again I called and spoke to another representative vie of which when I relayed what the Rep. the other day told me, he said they do not send anything out UPS over night for any reason and that I had a "miscommunication" with the other Rep. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I was refused. To try and relay each experience and content of the dishonest conversations with each staff member at Best Buy Online in this episode would take more time than I have to write, and I will assume more than anyone would want to read, as it is repetitive, just different types of rudeness and dishonesties.
I am one of these people that basically never complain, if I write a letter to any company regarding a experience it is about a positive one or to give a certain employee praise. As I figure that there are enough complaints in the world. So, writing this, is a first time experience for me. I have never, even in my life been treated so poorly and treated so minimally as a consumer. I do realize that things happen, but being lied to just makes me angry and being treated so poorly and being treated like a child like manner just makes my blood boil.
As it stands now with Best Buy Online, if I do not receive my product by September 2nd then I should call them on September 3rd and they will reship it. No, concern, or thought for customer satisfaction, it has been like one rude recording after another, with different stories and subtle insults as though they were talking to a child, of which I would never talk to a child that way.
I have never had a problem with the Best Buy Store, but I will never do a on-line experience with them and I would advice anyone I know against it. It has just been a horrible experience. I am at the point where I am going to call my credit card company and see what can be done to get my card refunded and place my order somewhere else.
If nothing else, I hope sharing this experience spares someone else of going through the grind that Best Buy Online has put me through.
