Pass Pets in Springfield Illinois - I bought my kitten, Shiloh at Pass Pets in Springfield Illinois only three days ago. I was told that he was perfectly healthy and he was covered for 30 days by "warrenty". He was only home for 24 hours before I noticed wheezing, sneezing, and coughing.

I bought my kitten, Shiloh at Pass Pets in Springfield Illinois only three days ago. I was told that he was perfectly healthy and he was covered for 30 days by "warrenty". He was only home for 24 hours before I noticed wheezing, sneezing, and coughing.

I took him to the warrenty vet and they told me he has bronchitus with double bacterial infection amongst some other lesser problems. Upin calling the store to voice my complaint with the manager, Jennifer, I was told my options were to keep caring for the kitten and hope for the best or bring him back for refund/exchange.

Well, I for one don't want another kitten from them and beyond that, what about the $150 EXTRA for kitten items in addition to the $120 for the kitten I spent? SOL for me unless I refund the kitten. Well what about my 4 year old daughter who is already attached to the kitten? AGAIN, SOL for me.

I STRONGLY suggest to anyone with a brain and a heart....DON'T purchase from PASS PETS. They should be put out of business.

I purchased a puppy from a Pass Pets store in Indianapolis, Indiana. I'm sad to hear all these horror stories about the chain of stores. I'm happy to say my puppy is doing well. But I went by the store the other day and noticed that the store which was once located in the mall, has since been closed. I was just trying to see if anyone who has complained on this site, was able to find a corporate number on them, because as most have, a warranty was purchased on my puppy. I'm just trying to see what the next step would be if something were to happen to her. If u have any information, i would appreciate it.
