Instead, after paying $49, I discovered that sharedmovies is a scam that only provides links to LimeWire and other freeware and shareware, with not actual content (movies etc) and no payment of proper royalties, and nothing legal about downloading. They have refused my repeated requests to refund my money; I have filed a fraud complaint at http://www1.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp

I have been cheated by sharedmovies too but as I live in Spain I don't know if there is any complaint I can do or where. Can you help me about that? Is there any colective complaint I could join? Thanks a lot

I like many others it seems have done same, as soon as your money is paid thats it nothing, I am disgusted. Alas they get away with it because thats all I could afford at the time, so feel very done over. Good luck to you guys out there. I hope you get your money back and more, I loath thieves just like out banks in UK at present all thieves

I'm with you, they will be refunding me as well,I have contacted the proper authorities and await action.We have to band together to stop these sort of scams!!!
