Chipotle is a new Mexican restaurant in the College Park area. On Tuesday, August 17, 2004 my wife asked me to get lunch to go for us at Chipotle to try it out for the first time. I had to wait in line and had plenty of time to understand the posted menu and knew what I wanted to order by stages. Stage 1 you pick taco shell for example, Stage 2 you pick your meat, Stage 3 you pick your salsa, and so on. I ordered 4 tacos and 1 burrito, problem is in the first four stages not one of the four male employees spoke English. By the time I got to the cashier I had beans that I didn't want, they put what I ordered for the burrito on the tacos and vice versa, put the wrong salsa on both, did not add tomato's, lettuce, and cheese that I attempted to order.

I complained to bi-lingual lady at the cash register who told me get back in line and re-order. I told her I didn't want to go back through as I knew what I wanted the first time and they couldn't speak English so it would be fruitless to go back through the long line. Meanwhile the cashier took my $13.05 and handed me an empty cup. I told her I ordered a Coke, she told me to get it myself. Then a door opened and someone pushed an empty trash can out, so I pitched the food in the trash can and left as I was too mad to stay there any longer. Today I called Chipotle and spoke with Manager Trainee Jessica who after hearing what happened invited me to their store today to be refunded my $13.05. When I got there I asked a lady pushing a mop to get Jessica. The lady was the manager Rebecca McCarty who wanted to give me a lecture (seems her employees have adjusted the story to serve themselves) and she refused to refund my money and refused to let me explain. If you can help resolve this dispute, I would appreciate it. After being told by Chilpotle' management to come get my money it seems like a double insult to not get my lunch and then to be refused a refund

Desired Settlement: Refund

Settlement Explanation: I would like my $13.05 back. I have already factored Chipotle out of my life for the future, so getting my money back would put me where I was before Tuesday's lunch experience.
