The Shutter and Blind Factory (Checkerman Inc.) 1967 A North Glassell Orange County, CA 92865 714-998-2335 San Diego Showroom located: 6690 Mission Gorge Road Suite G San Diego, CA 92120 619-280-8903 Shutters were ordered as a rush order ($250 additional charge for rush). Shutters ordered 3/3/2004 Shutters promised 3/25/2004, did not arrive Shutters arrived 4/2/2004 a week late, so I had to re-schedule installers and take another day off work. Installer arrived 4/5. Of the 13 shutters ordered only 4 could be installed, all the others are the incorrect dimensions, or manufactured incorrectly. The shutters for my master bed slider have been manufactured upside down !!! This company take all the money up-front before they will start manufacturing. Now it is impossible to speak to any one to find out what they will be doing, no one returns any calls. I have contacted the BBB, and my attorney will be involved soon. Nearly $5000 later, I still have no shutters. Also I have to pay the installation company every time they come out to the house. My attorney will be seeking compensation for $250 rush order, and an hourly rate ($45) for myself for any time I will have to take off work to get this problem resolved. This company should be black-listed. I have forwarded this information to the local press and news channels. David C David C
