Yonkers, New York- Lucille Roberts. Please help me to find someone at the Lucilee Roberts Headquarters that can help me! I am having so much trouble with their reps! I need to locate corporate /headquarters of this company? Please help! Here is what happened. 04/06/2004 Dear Sirs,
I was highly recommended to your company and decided to join and ever since I did -I have nothing but problems. I need to speak to a supervisor or manager and tried numerous times to handle this matter in a civil matter to no avail! I joined your services on April 3rd and upon giving all my personnal information to the person that did the intake, she then explained to me, and said someone will call you to set-up orientation.
But after 2 weeks of no one calling me, I then in return decided to call the facility myself, because your representative. Said- You cannot use the membership until you attend orientation, and to be totally honest with you I was quite eager.
So I called and I did speak to the representative that answered the phone -she said she was terribly sorry for the misunderstanding and the billing would not start until the day after I called her- the 16th of March-through April 16th (at which time I would be billed), since I was mis-informed and now lost 2 weeks. Well as of yesterday the 5th, the amount of $43.98 was charged to my debit card, and when I called 212-734-9717 and spoke to a Carolyn I.d,# 1105 she said she is sorry but there has been a clerical error and I am being charged from the first day I walked into your club(even though I never used your services and was told/misinformed that I could not use your services until I attended orientation.
Let me add she(your representative) was a rude and totally nasty representative without regard for any respect towards your customer! I do not understand how a company with your reputation hires a person of her nature? I then asked to speak to a supervisor which I indeed spoke to someone with the name of John I.d# 1103, and he also agreed the error was not on my part but there is nothing he can do about it! He as well was not very nice! Well I was so angry at the people that represent your company that I asked for my membership to be cancelled, if they treat customers like this, then I want no part of this company! He then told me as of May 16th my membership will be cancelled at that time I will be charged because cancellation requires a 30 day notice!
This is unbelievable! I walked in your company on March 3rd, have not attended orientation until the 3rd week of March (because that is what was told to me) and used your facility once, how is this possible? All because I was sold something on a fraudulent basis! I was led to believe something that was far from the truth in order to get my hard earned money! Not only that -but at the time I joined , I brought a friend and when I signed up, so did she and I used my debit card for her first initial payment, only to now be charged her next payment on my debit card of $23.98? So now I have been charged money for something your company has misguided me into believing and your company has not fulfilled the services promised me, and also have been charged for my friends membership($23.98)?
I have asked for a copy of the authorization of this second charge for my friend-Lynda Rosado which they would not fax over to me, but said they would mail me a copy. This is so inappropriate as a company offering services to the public! I would like a refund for all charges pertaining to my account, I do not want your services! You totally were untrue as to your terms and agreement and just plain lied and never fulfilled what was promised to me! And I want to make sure you never ever charge me for this womans membership! Please, may someone respond to my e-mail before I file with the Better Business Bureau! Sincerely Diana H

I was lied to when I was told to pay up front and as a result will be given a free shirt, water bottle and a discount. Yes I was given all this but little did I know I was signed into a long term contract. No one informed me of this! I thought I was paying up front becouse of the free stuff. I figured they need money, but because they give you extras for paying up front I did not mind paying. But this was all a trick! By paying up front I apparetly was signing into a contract I did not know even existed. The gym advertizes itself as no contract please come and join! I cant believe I was so dumb not to read everything carefully! I cant believe I trusted the person at the desk! I am shaken by this experience. The menager in the Manhattan office blamed me for this and hung up the phone! Can anyone imagine this? Menager hanging up the phone on a costumer with a compliant! Please be very careful wih this company! dont sign anything before reading EVERYTHING! The fact that they tell you no contract no obligation is meaningless. These words are empty and only God hears them! what matters is your signature this is their word against yours, and I think they have an upper hand! I am not giving up yet though, and will be contacting lawyers. I hope that business practice as this one will be brought to a stop. This is very unfair and seems fraudulent to me...
