I was searching on the internet for the Hilton customer service address and saw your complaint of the day listing for this particular hotel. My family and I stayed there for two nights (March 28 and March 29, 2004.) Rudeness was far from the worst part of our visit...
We arrived very late due to traffic, etc. Got up for the "free" breakfast brunch and was sorry that I did. Yuck. Left to go to DC for the day. Came back at 7:00 p.m. and discovered that the cleaning staff did not service our room.
I was told that we arrived too late to be on the schedule, etc. They asked me if I really needed service...it was obvious that they really didn't want to do it. Since it was late, I just asked for towels. A cleaning staff member brought up towels, laid them down and left. (She didn't even take the dirty ones.) We really needed another pillow...called down and the service person acted like she wasn't sure that she could find one. A security guard brought one up.
There were no glasses nor an ice bucket in the room. Forget that. The next a.m. we awoke cold. The electricity was out. The water was brown, thus no showers were to be had. We went down for our "free" breakfast brunch of which quality you can only imagine. Need I say more? It was the worst hotel visit I have had in years. The stinker was that our bill for two nights was $280.00. Ouch.
