To whom it may concern:
Dear Sir, Please don't take this complaint to personal, it's just been 1wk+ and yet noone has returned a call as the staff there in the modest Motel 6 promised my family and I. To make a long story short, The entire room was filthy, bathroom was horrible and smelled like urine, no disinfect chemical would take it away, the ring in the tub was filmy and unsanitary, yes we still stayed for we had no other option at the present time and hour.
I did phone the operator as soon as we practically entered the room but my answer was we have nothing else available, plus no refund was offered or available (per her statement) I didn't argue for the fact we were supposed to be enjoying our vacation, so I did find myself totally scrubbing the whole room and changed the bedding with extra clothing and sheets we so happen to bring just in case of an emergency.
So thinking okay just one night kids and we will be out of this place as I tried to apologize for the room we had to put up with. The next morning (keep in mind this is the first motel we had stayed at), my youngest child which is 22mths old woke up the next morning crying as if something was stabbing him, we soon found out that he has the chicken pocs virus. So we immediately took him to the hospital and was confirmed it as the chicken pocks and actually diagnosed them as brand new and dr. is 99.9 percent positive they had just been caught.
So there we have it, So yes I did tell the staff and did get a smirk and something like a chuckle with a remark like oh, leave your number and someone will try and get back to you, but since you are on vacation that'll be impossible unless that was another story, (I was offend and appalled by this idiot! I let it fly by being that I'm a professional mother of 2 and at that time I had to be at my best behavior for example and basically was taught better manners that that person shown.
So yes I'm upset for this isn't the 1st time something like this has ever happened, believe it or not I would say around 8yrs ago my son and I were traveling along the Los Gatos cal. area and he caught the mumps from the facility, so I had never ever choose a motel 6 again for a night stay, but being we had no choice at that time I didn't think this would ever happen. So you could say I've totally spent about you could say roughly 250+ a month on rooms being that I travel once a month on business and have had some good service (don't get me wrong but the recent AND ONE OTHER HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I've ENCOUNTERED weren't even addressed.
I basically gave away $185.00 and received nothing but a hospital bill and some gray hair and bought myself some bad attitude from the staff of motel 6. So there you have lost a customer whom really enjoyed your basic rooms not too mentioned you do have some nice upgraded room in San Jose but the prices suited me well, but I will pay a little extra for cleaness and bearable smell and not having to wondering if I'll be scrubbing tonite or not.
