I have been trying unsuccessfully to locate a HP Service Center to repair my camera. I'm perfectly willing to pay for it, as it is out of warranty by 8 months. The service rep at HP says that while I can't send it to them for repair, I can pay them another $30 and than pay $200 for a replacement or $280 for an upgrade.
Both of which would no doubt be refurbished and probably break leading me right back to this point! What a racket!
After being left on hold for 15 minutes a Customer Service Rep, who I could not understand , ( I believed he was Indian) attempted to explain this process that is clearly rigged to get them even more money for faulty products.
I will never purchase a HP Product again and I would advise any other consumer looking to buy from them to check out their repair service policy. Or rather their lack of one.
