AOL Internet Service Provider
AOL is becoming a huge rip-off.....I pay by the phone call to use the internet. When I sign on to AOL it takes two, three or four separate calls to connect due to "failure of the access company to respond", "host connection timed out due to a 6A" and each time another call is made the bps gets less and less. If all works as it should, I am connected at 115, 000 bps.
As the calls continue the bps moves down to 49,000 and to 39,000---I'll be able to run my messages faster than these connections! AOL tech help is clueless. They have a hard time with English (their service is out of India) and the techs tell you to do "something", not necessarily the right thing. Does anyone else have this problem? I'd appreciate knowing what I can do about it. Thanks.
By the way, if you send back ANY negative feedback after getting tech help, they refuse to acknowledge it and they ban you from live chat tech help. Now that's great service!
