I paid off my Providain account on March 19, 2004. It is now April 6, 2004 and they have not updated my account. I called customer service which is now Card Services Company and the Supervisor Chris Cedino was very rude.

I explained the situation to him that my account is closed and $0 balance and he said it will be done in May sometime.

I told him I paid off another account at the same time and it was already updated in the Credit bureaus. Providian is still showing a balance of $500 plus. I asked for another manager and he refused to give any information then hang up the phone. Customer service is terrible.
