Troy Built lawn tractor transmission - have had no success in getting this problem resolved

Troy Built Transmission

I bought a troy built lawn tractor in 2000. It's been OK until this year when the transmission seemed to be going out. After taking it to the shop and the mechanic finding no problems with the transmission I was told it was a factory defect. I have had no success in getting this problem resolved.

I've e-mailed the company and the troy built service center has tried to contact the company to no avail. With service like this troy built and MTD will be out of business with my help. I will never buy a troy built or a MTD since troy built is built buy MTD. All those that read this should pass the word about troy built and MTD bad customer service.
