State Farm Auto Insurance Complaint
Our State Farm agent for homeowners coverage in Seattle, Norm M, was regularly contacting us and sending us birthday cards until a State Farm insured motorist (teenager) struck and dragged our dog for 15 feet under his truck, crushing one of his legs and peeling the skin off one side of his body. The teenager was speeding, going the wrong way on a one way street and ran a stop sign, all witnessed by a neighbor. When we filed a claim against State Farm, that was the last we ever heard from State Farm Agent Mr. M. We tried calling him repeatedly, he never returned one call. The dog was hit 1.5 years ago. We'd had him for 10 years, and while he survived, his leg had to be amputated and the vet bills were very big. We are suing State Farm. They are completely nonresponsive, they are unprofessional and have been very underhanded in their treatment of us. They haven't paid a penny, just delayed. They lost a Summary Judgment motion, yet they still do not respond and delay. We've dropped our coverage with them obviously. Once you have a claim against State Farm, you're no longer a customer, you're THE ENEMY. State Farm owes us $5000 in vet bills and attorney fees. This has been a horrible experience for us. Our dog is a member of the family and has suffered greatly. His life has been shorted and he frequently struggles to get around. The impact of this situation on our children was awful, and the callous treatment we've received from State Farm has made the situation all the more painful. N, Pam
