Customer Service is a thing of the past for US BANK

 

At one branch, they had a couch that you sit on while waiting for a teller; being 6ft-4in tall I was able to look over the dividers and see 6-8 women back behind the partitions talking about their boy friends, after waiting for about 25 minutes - I simply walked out of the bank

 

Another day, I went into a branch and tried to get a money order, they said their "computer was down" and they couldn't help me, yet they were able to take my deposit

 

I went over to another branch, and there was a line of people stretching out of the door of the building, with only 2 tellers, but there were two men at their desks doing nothing, in fact - one was reading a magazine

 

At another branch, they will open up 1-2 tellers and I can look over to the other side of the building, and see at least 8 people sitting at computer terminals and talking on the phone, while the line of people gets 20 deep

 

There was a bank back east that the manager came up with a great idea, he drew a line on the ground and when the line of people got up to that point, they would assign another teller - it didn't matter who you were, or what your position was - even if you were the bank president, they would get another teller out on the floor
