We signed a contract for 3 yrs. for monitoring services. We were told the service could be transfered if we moved to any area that was covered by ADT at no charge. Not true, they want us to pay off the remaing 11 months of our current contract and sign another 3 yr. contract at the new house.

 

We also found out the contract rolls over if you do not give them a 30 day written notice before the current contract period expires. The local company that installed the equipment and who also was the dealer that signed us up in the first place is now saying they have no responsibility and are not part of ADT.

 

We have moved and are paying $34 per mo. for the service in our old home and we still do not have service in the new residence. ADT is refusing to transfer our service. They expect us to continue paying them for service without performance on their part.
