1990 Hoda ACCORDE eX

I purchased a 90 Hona Accorde Ex from Flivvers Used Auto on Frankford Ave. Aware that used cars have problems and would be in need of repair I pointedly asked the salesman Mark what was wrong with the car. Mark informed me that there was nothing wrong with the car except it needed a muffler and that would run me maybe $30 to purchase.

I bought this car believing his deception. After placing the car in a repair shop I was infromed that I would need a new exhaust system. Which cost $435.00. After gettting a new exhaust system the car still would not work.I placed the car in another repair shop after finding out that I would need a distributor. This would cost

$275.00.

All this time I have contacted Mark and informed him that I was only able to drive two days before this car would not start. Mark and I had been in contact with him promising that he would trade or fix my car.

After telling me to place the car in the repair shop and they would handle the costs of repair . Mark then told me to call the repair shop and stop repairs he would have his tow truck guypick the car up from there.

The car is still in the repair shop collecting storage fees due to his deception. The owner gave him cart

blanche to handle this. Did not want to be bothered. I offered to pay for the tow to their lot and to purchase the part. Mark called every day with the intent to deceive me. Promising he had a car for me .He told me to come by on Sat 3 @ 12:00 to pick up a car. I arrived there only to be informed that Mark had left for the day.

I purchased this car because I have recently gained custody of my newborn niece and I needed to be able to provide transportation for us to babysitters,doctors,etc.......

Mark would tell me to call him back in a certain amount of minutes and would cut his phone off. I am thoroughly disgusted with the service that I have received. During one of our conversations he laughingly informed me that they sol limes that would not make it three blocks and that is why it was taking so long to have a car. The business phone is also disconnected. I have no idea of what to do now. I filed a complaint withthe BBB. What other recourse do I have? Theresa R
