Super 8 Motel, Newscomerstown, OH - very unhappy with the way we were treated

My husband and I booked 1 night for Fri., April 23rd for Grandpa's funeral--- with a possibility of staying the second night if a cancellation was made. There was a cancellation, so we stayed Sat., April 24th---only to wake up to "NO HOT" water for a shower.

When we complained to the manager at time of checking out---the manager said--"too many people washing their dogs!" Not even "I'm sorry"! I really don't care how many people were washing their dogs--------

I expect to take a shower in the morning, and not a cold one!

I am a customer service representative for General Motors, so I have first hand experience in dealing with unhappy customers/dealers/suppliers.

The last thing I want to do is complain about service / business / employees, after solving these same kind of issues with my daily routine. However,the manager at this location was not the least bit interested in hearing what my husband had to say---just shruged his shoulders!

This is a complaint---I am very unhappy with the way we were treated, and will think a long time about staying at another Super 8 motel.
