Hello,
Complaint: We had purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator (285 ltr) in May 1999.
There was a cooling problem and we contacted the Whirlpool Service centre in Patparganj, Delhi. They send the engineer on 14th April and he noticed that their is a gas leakage and the gas needs to be filled. On 15th they send another engineer who filled the gas and assured us that Fridge will work perfectly now.
We paid him the charges as required. We noticed that the cooling is still not there and within one hour Firdge totally stopped working. We contacted their service centre again and tell them the whole situation. They assured us that they will send the engineer to have a look again. We kept on calling them daily n number of times but always the response from their side was "our all engineers are busy", they will come tommorow.
This happened till 21st, when again we called up they said that your compalit number is old, we will give you a new number and you complaint will be considered fast and the person assured that it will be done definitely by 22nd April. But the same story continued, now it was really frustrating. We contacted Mr. Venkatesh (one of the higher authorities of whirpool) and tell him the whole story, he assured that our complained will be considered fast and he asked us to contact the service centre again.
We called up the service centre again and thank God they send their engineer to have a look again, now goodness me he says that the compressor is not working and this needs to be replaced, question here is - probably the same case might be earlier and the guy has changed the gas and charged the amount. When we asked him to replace the compressor(as it's under warranty) he says that we are short of compressors, I don't know when it will be changed, you have to check from the service centre. Now again the same story continuos. We are really fed up now and I will appreciate if something could be done on this.
