Dear Sir/ Madam Re: Comets Service, Philips Plasma TV Not since the Hoover flight promotion some ten years ago have I felt so incensed!!

 

I formed a Pressure Group on how customers were being treated over the know infamous Hoover Flight promotion. What got me going at the time? Well you could not get to talk with anyone in authority? No one would give you the name of the MD? The rest as they say is consumer & Marketing History?

 

On purchasing a Philips Plasma TV under four months ago? It go's wrong, fair enough things do go wrong! However it has taken Comet seven days to even pick up the TV? No loan set? Numerous phone calls & push this number 1-4, then passed on to another dept, telling Comet person after person, the same story? I seemed to be talking to Robots?

 

Planet Comet has not got things in place seven days is to long? We know wait for the repair? HOW LONG? WHO KNOWS? Comet at the point of Sale, the Salesman promise the "Earth" ? Sadly you do not deliver the promise? All I can say to Comet Customers is Beware the conditions of this vastly costly extra Insurance they try to sell you! Its not worth the paper it's written on!!
