Circuit City Westbury, N.Y I had bought a family member a portable CD player for Christmas. They did not like it, but I go away to school and I didn't have time to return it until April 18th. I realized that it had been more than 30 days, so all I wanted was a store credit, I didn't want my money back.

When I went to the service desk, the girl working was pretty rude and I had to explain the whole story to her and she looked it up and said that they did not carry the product I purchased anymore and that's what a warranty is for.

I still had the reciept and the package was never opened, it was in it's original condition. The employees there are never very helpful and there never seem to be any employees on the sales floor. I will never shop at a circuit city again.
