I probably will never hear anything back from you, but I am going to tell you my problem, and what I think.

My husband received a EDDIE BAUER TITANIUM-COATED MULTI TOOL & 12 PIECE BIT SET as a gift for Christmas. As he already had one, we wanted to return it to one of your stores in Omaha, Nebraska.

We could not get a receipt from the person he received the gift from. So therfore we took it back with the intention of replacing it with a shirt or some type of clothing. We were told we would have to replace it with an item of equal or greater value in the sporting department where it was purchased. As he is not a sport advocate, this is not an option for us. Therefore we are sitting here with a gift he will not use. Stupid; right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We spend alot of time and money at your stores in Omaha, and we think this is a bad policy of your Target stores. Never heard of anything like this before in any of the other large discount stores. Money spent in your store is money in your store, no matter what department it is spent in. I will think twice before returning to your stores, either in Omaha or any other town.
