NCO Financial Services - attempted to resolve past due account - treated rudely NCO Financial Services - attempted to resolve past due account - treated rudely
From:
Regarding the customer service received. The company is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. I call trying to resolve my past due account and I was treated so... rudely. This was not just by one person but by several of there customer services reps. I first called Capital One the creditor I was experience the credit issues with.
I thought I was speaking to an Capital One rep, however when I called NCO the rep there told me I was actually speaking with one of there rep's in Kentucky. This rep was not rude at all, however I thought there were more options then what he was offering so I decide at the point to call NCO.
The rep I spoke with was rude and cruel, after all people do experience extenuating circumstances at times. He told me I was over 4 months behind in payments, which I was well aware of. He asked me what happened and I proceeded tell him I had experienced a lay-off and was unable to pay my bills.
He had no compassion, he said well you need to pay this account; there about to take you to court. He said" I used the credit now I need to pay the debt". I told him I intended to pay the debt however, I would not be able to make a payment until 01/15/04, he then said sorry, I can't help you. I hung up the phone knowing he was right he was not going to even try to help me. I call back to speak with a supervisor, that was a disaster.
The next person I spoke with was no better. I requested to speak with a supervisor, but he would not grant my request. He said he was in charge, next in line to a supervisor or manager. I did not believe him due to the way he was speaking to me as well, I hung up and call back desperately seeking help.
The next person placed me on hold and never came back. I called back again, trying to reach a manager. What I realized after talking to 5 people was I was in fact calling the same office where the employees had access to caller I.D. They knew it was me and they thought it was funny. This was the worst people experience I have ever had. From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Wednesday, 31-Dec-03 00:00:00 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
