Dish Network - upset about cost and requirements to get local channels

On October 25.2003 we had dish network install a satellite system and two receivers. At thst time they asked us if we would like to be put on hold for local stations on our dish if they became available to our area. We said we would wait and see whenever they became availble we would subscribe then. We paid for a full year of the top 100 favorites.

We then found out that local stations are now available to us. I then called and dish network to receive the local stations and was told in order to receive the local channels I would have to have another satellite dish and subscribe to another year of programming plus the price of the local channels and $24.95 to install it.

I could understand it if I had an old sattellite and needed to renew my programing but I have had this system for 2 months and they told me I could get local stations on the dish they put in. I feel this is bad business and people need to know this before getting into this mess.
