On Saturday 27th December 2003 I went into Safeways Hereford to Purchase a Bush Television that was on offer on the weekly offer sheet.

I went into the area where the televisions etc., were - I looked around and then asked for assistance, a young lady came over who knew absolutely nothing about televisions or Hi-Fi's so a young man came over and started dealing with me I asked about the specific Bush Television when he said there was one left, at this point he walked off and started serving another customer, when he finally came back I asked if a certain Bush Hi-Fi system would be able to be plumbed up to the television he said yes I think so.

This did not fill me with confidence I said well can it or cant it - he proceded to look at the television and came back with a lead that would work with the Bush Hi-Fi and the television. I then said alright I will have a Bush Television, a DVD/Video Combi and a Bush Hi-Fi that he said would work with the television. He replied to me sorry we have no more televisions in stock, I do not know whether we have the Bush Hi-Fi but we do have the DVD/Video.

I asked if I could have the television and Hi-Fi on display he said well we might be getting more televisions in I will check. He rang someone and said that they would not be having anymore in. I said alright can I have the one off display. He replied yes but there is absolutely no packaging, I asked if they had any bubble wrap he said no we have nothing, we flat pack all our boxes and get rid of them. So I was taking a risk and buying a television with no packaging but I knew if I did not buy it on this occassion I would come in the next week and find the same television on sale for
