Maytag PAV2300AWW - transmission went out after 3 years - warranty didnt cover trouble shooting and installation costs

I bought a Maytag pav2300aww. The transmission went out after 3 years. The transmission was in warranty but did not include trouble shooting and installation costs. I wanted to do the work myself, but Maytag would not allow it.

The repair company said that this was not a "Real" Maytag, rather a bought out company that they own.

It may not be a "Real" Maytag, but it sure has a Maytag label on it. after many years using and recommending Maytag products, I have bought another product, and will not use or recommend this product again.
