TracFone - took several days to get phone activated - so far, unable to buy airtime, despite attempts

From: I received a cool cell phone from my attorney-spouse awhile back, but it has turned into a major nightmare. It took several days to get the piece of crap “activated”, and I have as yet been unable to actually purchase air time on-line.

I am VERY uncomfortable, given the number of hours spent, and the credit card number supplied therein, with no positive responses.

I have just discovered that TracFone is owned by the same Mexican company as CompUSA, perhaps the worst supplier of computer stuff on the planet. Don’t go by me, though, I’ve only been in the business for 30 years.
