I have been paying the monthly premium for two and a half years and the company has not processed either of my two claims for my young dog. After denying the first claim nearly automatically, VPI requested additional information to re-review the claim. After making a special trip to the vet just for extra medical records and submitting them, I followed up on the claim by phone.
The customer service representative said the additional information was never received and the due date had passed so the claim could not be reviewed again.
I was told that the second claim that I submitted was never received either. I'm thinking of resubmitting it and following up sooner, but it will probably be a waste of time (and my monthly payments in the meantime will be a waste a money).
