Macresq.com - poor Apple PowerBookG4 purchase experience Macresq.com - poor Apple PowerBookG4 purchase experience
From:
Apple PowerBookG4 667Mhz /sales dept. /owner
The following is a letter addressed to the owner of MacResQ; the company advertises on-line Apple computers and I purchased a powerbook for one of my major Apple-user clients and installed custom software for same. The product has a known defect I was not aware of at time of purchase. Although I've done business with this company many times in the past few years, I've noticed a decline in product value and service-support, therefore the trust factor is completely gone. I requested from the owner to put all stated agreements in writing as I just don't believe this guy's word is worth anything more than noise Thank You Michael Murray
Shannen jean; I am very disappointed in you. The following is a notice to you and your company titled macresq that as of 12/26/03, I will no longer endorse nor be doing business of any kind with you or your company. This decision is based on my belief that your business ethics are not compatible with my own business methods which require good and honest business endeavors that put the customer's needs first.. >From my telephone conversation with you today it is more than relevant to me that profit was your major concern and customer concerns was not considered at all. The fact that you and your technicians were aware this Apple powerbook G4 Titanium 667MHz has inherent defections in the video hardware prior to advertising said unit for sale confirms that I was wise to notify you of my customer's frustrations and challenge the defection to you whereas your only response was the fact that I take a defensive stand for my customers now and have done so with positive results for the customer's satisfaction many times in the past in the last two and a half years, tells me undeniably that it will be best to remove your site-link from my own. The removal of your link is being done as I write this notice to you. I have been informed to request your statements during our phone conversation on 12/26/03 for business purposes that those statements by you must be in writing; that is it is your suggestion and approval for me to remove the hard-drive from the Apple G4 powerbook titanium serial #QT2065SNL Y0 , and give it to the customer for saved video files before I send it back to MacRisq, as you stated the video problems the Apple PB 667 could not be repaired by your staff, and was returned to my customer 12/ 23/ 03 defective.
You also stated on the date of 12/26/03 that you would refund in full the total price for the Apple titanium powerbook serial#QT2065SNL Y0 upon receipt of same and include a refund in full the cost paid by my customer for overnight shipping on 12/ 9 /03 for repairs which was $70.14 via FedEx shipping from Chicago to Concord, CA. It was returned to my customer via my shipping address Airborne ground. The agreement to the statements you made above may be sent to me via my e-mail address. I would also like to have you inform your crew such as Clint/ Shawna at Macreq in Kansas to decease sending me any more of your 'specials' and remove my name from your affiliate program as of today's date. I will gladly block the address of Macrisq from my mail in-box as soon as you send the confirmation of agreement statement.
