I ordered an amplifier last week for my son for Christmas. I ordered from Musicians Friend because they said it would arrive before Christmas and had free shipping, which was important given the weight of amps.

 

I received several confirmation messages showing my purchase and assuring me all was on schedule. I received a message this morning saying that in fact hadn't shipped and was on back order. I checked the web page and it says they are still in stock.

 

I called to varify and was told they were sold out and wouldn't get any more until after Christmas. I told them of their guarentee and messages saying they had sent it. Their responce was "oh well, we don't have them and can't get anymore before Christmas".

 

I reminded them of their guarentee and asked what they were going to do. They just said "oh well-too bad". Now I have to disappoint my son by not having his gift on Christmas. That is not good business.
