AOL now charges $5 /month service fee per month to debit your checking account rather than your credit card, but don't tell you about the fee until you see confirmation screen, and then it is not clear whether it is one time or monthly. But more important, is that when you call to get clarification, you get a person in India that does not not speak the same English people in the US do. They could not understand my questions although they appeared to understand me. I had difficulty understanding them. I am in the painful process of leaving AOL for a number of other reasons, but this would be reason enough for me. After some Dell computer problems with technical support in India I made the decision to not buy from any company that has any of its phone services out of India.
