In late January/early February of 2003, I foolishly decided to try the AOL 45 day free trial. On Feb. 10th, and again on February 24th of 2003, I called to cancel before the free trial was over. I was told my account would be disconnected. But---I later found out that my bank account was being drafted to the tune of $29.44 per month. I called again—NOTHING!!! Again in October and November of 2003, I called—I wrote letters to the billing Department in Florida (no human will answer the phone there)—still NOTHING!!!!! Now, it is December, and once again they have drafted my account. I did receive a deposit from them for $47.80---2 months @ $23.90 each---even though they are billing $29.44 to my account. I see that there are a lot of complaints against AOL for this same (or similar) occurrence---isn’t there some way we can do a class action law suit against AOL? I wish I had known about this complaints.com—before I tried AOL!!! Is there anyone out there who can help get my money back? They have taken $235.52 !!!!! Anita Evans Wills Point, TX
