This complaint is in regards to Atlantic Circulation, Inc. (ACI) - 2 College Ave., PO Box 448, Mountville, PA 17554-0448.

On 9-26-03, a college-aged girl trying to "earn points" to help her win a trip to Cancun basically invited herself into my apartment. I felt extremely pressured to buy a magazine subscription, and unfortunately, wasted 48 dollars. I did not trust my gut instinct that this was a shady deal, and seem to have been scammed.

I was assured that I'd receive my first issue of Glamour magazine in 4-6 weeks. Well, eleven weeks have passed and I still have not received an issue. I've tried calling the company, but have yet to speak with a real person.

What's upsetting is that my check cleared within one week of ordering this faulty magazine subscription! I am a college student and frankly, I don't have a lot of money to throw away. The subscription was going to be a fun treat to look forward to throughout the school year.

I could certainly use that 48 dollars now that it is Christmas time, and I still need to purchase gifts for my two best friends.
