RE: Honda Civic 1998 / Showcase Honda, Poenix, AZ - wasn't sold Honda Certified Used car, as was told
I bought a used 1998 Honda Civic DX (Honda Certified Used car) from Showcase Honda, Phoenix, AZ this year in March. The sale process went ok despite all the rubbish they put in trying to make more money. After 5 months I started having problems with the car with its clutch and other engine problems. I took it back to the dealership for repair and found out that the car they sold me wasnt even Honda Certified Used Car.
The reason for mistake they gave was: SOMEONE BY MISTAKE PUT THE CERTIFIED CAR STICKER ON THE CAR as per their exact words. I called their sales and account executives and they said that this is a very common mistake. For records, when I was sold the car I was told that the HONDA CERTIFIED USED CAR sell for atleast $1000 more as it gives you full bumper to bumper everything covered warranty.
I asked for the amount back for the warranty that was never there but they almost laughed at me. So I got my car fixed. After couple months I started having problems with my car again and took it back to their repair shop and this time was told that my warranty doesnt covers that problem. Im very frustrated and have tried to contact Honda but couldnt get a good number to reach customer service. I have bought 2 cars from Showcase Honda this year and have to admit from my experience that I will never go back there again. I need help to contact Honda customer service. Thanks in advance for replies. Thanks SM From: Message Author (click here to email author) Date: Tuesday, 24-Dec-02 00:00:00 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
