Compass Bank, Preston Rd., Dallas, TX - upset about fees

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on December 17, 2002:

I deposited almost $200 cash at compass bank and was told that it would take 2 days before it would show

into my account (it did!),meanwhile they passed through to items in a hurry and started charging new

fees as well (they charged me and then they let me know).

What ended up happing is that they bounced 2 items over a few dollars and ended up charging me $60 from 2 overdraft fees....THATS SIXTY DOLLARS!!!!

Tell me how it is better to keep your money in this bank than to keep it in your pocket.
