I'm not certain how to start. I had my order lost, then found, then lost again. I had four bridesmaids dresses ordered and got charged for five.

 

It took over a month to get that rectified. Then after surviving the bridesmaid dress issue, I had my alterations done. What was I thinking. I admit the dress came out fine - I think - but the day of my final fitting, I arrived early to my appointment. Good thing, too. They had no idea I was coming and were closing up the alterations department. They even tried to give me someone else's dress.

 

Additionally, if you are in a situation to have a bridesmaid who will be pregnant during your ceremony, in my experience, do not ask the advice of any of their sales associates. My sister, normally a size 4 was told to purchase a dress in size 12 to compensate for the difference in her chest and middle. I specifically selected an empire waist to accomodate for the mid section expansion.

 

Well, it didn't even come close to fitting her two months before the wedding. (Love that no return policy, too.) Anyway, that was my experience with David's Bridal. I estimate that over the course of three months that I spent at least $30 in cell phone charges trying to clear everything up. Can you believe they still send me email?! Thank you for the forum.
