RE: 1997 Pontiac Montana Transport - door panels fell off, mirror fell of, a/c compressor dead
. We are the very dissatisfied owners of a 1997 Pontiac Montana Transport. Since day 1 we have had nothing but troubles, door panels falling off due to faulty clips, exterior mirror falling off, a/c compressor dead within 1 month, water in headlights, weather stripping falling off.....
clicking noise fom dash area - to dealer at least 6 times for this without it still being corrected.....and now..the electrical system seems to be shot....calls to GM direct and by dealer have been a waste of time.....
Pontiac just does not care and we never get any where. I think it is time for a class action suit as the 1997 model seems to be one oversized lemon..
and once the 36000 mile warranty was over.....too bad for the consumer... Pontiac...do the right thing and replace this piece of metal....or at least have a local dealer fix what's wrong and absorb the cost. William J Connolly
