RE: Data Products printer catridges - generatic replacements for Epson printers - damaged printer I have a complaint about Data Products printer cartridges, stocked as generic replacements for Epson printers by Staples, which destroyed the heads on my printer.
My local Epson Official Service Center has advised me that this product is known to cause this sort of damage, which requires replacement of the printer. I have e-mailed Staples several times, and naturally they haven't replied. My question is, who should I be complaining about -- the product, or the store? My sense is that Staples must know about this problem, so they're the responsible party.
In any case, Data Products doesn't have a website, so they're probably manufactured uniquely for them. Looking forward to hearing from you. Simon Maskell
