The worse experience in my life. I purchase a HONDA ACCORD COUPE V6 2001 4 month ago, this has been a night mare. The vehicle producess weird transmission noises and engine hesitates and makes humming noises frequently, besides that the car has been on the shop 8 times already and they have even changes the gauges panel because it was scratched by the tachometer by the OEM, after it was replace even they had to reset the odomoeter, so the vehicle doen't even have accurate mileage information.

I purchased the vehicle because of Honda's alleged reputation and unparalleled reliability, but turned to be the worse car nightmare I had experienced. I am prusuin repurchase of this junk thru lemon and BBB, if they are not able to help will hit and sue Honda corporation.

The car makes so many noises that I was close to be involved in an accident because I was trying to make the drivers door to stop that noise. besides this major problem of the engine and/or transmission, there is about 8 different items (body) that they say is not warrantable, for Honda district manager Erol Arzola (south easter region) all is normal and not warrantable.

Fornt bumber paint peeling, they used a magnifier and say is way a miniature debri from the highway but the paint is off is about 1 square inch, would this be bad quality paint? yes. Back bumper is getting loose, would it be that the poor people that assemble this car makes very low wages and they have 50 cars daily quota? yes.

The passenger side seat leather was stained, they replaced it and is 2 shades darker and different type of tleather, the passenger door panel was replaced because had apuncture and the replacement is also a fix door panel. Electric tape is coming under the stereo section.

Huge gap (1 1/2 inches) between the dashboard and passenger door panel. Moonroof makes horrible noises (when closed). Watter seems to be getting inside the car when heavy rain. When windows goes up makes the frame of the door (holder) to bent, so separates the door out of the mail frame of the car, both sides.

I contacted dealer they didn't respond satisfactory, I called Honda Corporation and spoke to a serv rep for 2 weeks, after that she scalated the call and the other person says that the first one was a trainne and didn't have authority to tell me what she did.

I will exaust all resources necessary and money because I don't want to see anyone else to go thru this nightmare. This is a product that I paid for (25k) is not a gift from honda, so it's my money, and regardless that the law protect more the manufacturer than the consumer in this case, I will do whatever it takes and won't rest till satisfied.

I am also agree with you !! am also facing the same prob with Honda Accord 2001 Ex V6 !! the main prob was transmission !!

Please anyone suggest is there any replacement from Honda !! its 87K now !!
