Dear sirs/ Madams: I purchased a hair regrowth product from Avacor. i ordered a 6 month supply and was told by the customer service operator that I should use the full six months and then, if it didn't work, I could get a full refund, no risk to me. Upon beginning usage, I developed a horrible rash.
I called Avacor and demanded a full refund. I was told by the customer service operator that before I got a refund, I should speak with their doctor, Dr. gordon. I spoke with Dr. Gordon who advised me to stagger use of the product.
I should only take every few days or so until I was able to use it without any reaction. I followed his instructions and checked in with him on 2 other occassions to gauge progress..each time he stressed that I must not take it every day, I should stagger it. Thus, the 6 month supply would last more than 6 months. Now, they are claiming that they gave me a 6 month guaranty, so they are not responsible because it took me over 6 months to use the product. They claim that the doctor does not speak on their behalf (even though THEy referred me to him) and they don't keep records of who he speaks to (is that even legal?).
So, in spite of the fact that their own doctor advised me to use the product in a certain way and I followed his directions, they are not standing behind their product. The product is garbage, it gave me a bad rash and when I finally was able to use it, it proved worthless. I don't doubt that the whole plan of starting slowly to make sure it takes over 6 months to use, is part of their scam. They must be stopped! Please help!
